State Ballet of Georgia tours to Estonia and Finland

th May, 2017 the annual ballet festival organized by Eesti Konsert is being conducted in Jõhvi. The Eesti Konsert invited State Ballet of Georgia to participate in the festival. Program of the festival: 5
th May-Mikhail Fokine’s Evening–
Chopiniana, Le Spectre de la Rose and the
Firebird. On 6
th May-George Balanchine’s program:
Serenade, Mozartiana and one-act ballet
Sagalobeli by Y.Posokhov; 7
th May-Gala Concert.
Tour continues to Finland. Director and Chairman of the Board of the Saimaa Dance Festival, Hannu Hyttinen, invited State Ballet of Georgia to the festival in Helsinki. Ballet Company conducts two performances on 8
th and 9
th May. The program includes:
Sagalobeli by Y.Posokhov,
Concerto Barocco by George Balanchine, and
Marguerite and Armand by F.Ashton, starring Prima Ballerina Nina Ananiashvili. Both of the performances will be conducted at the Alexander Theatre in Helsinki.
