Khatuna Tchokhonelidze Khatuna Tchokhonelidze graduated from the Kutaisi branch of the Tbilisi V. Sarajishvili State Conservatoire under Professor G. Lomtadze (1998). In the same year she sang the part of Eteri in Zakaria Paliashvili’s opera Absalom and Eteri at the Conservatoire Opera Studio. Later in Yerevan, at the concert, dedicated to the Music Days of Georgia she performed excerpts from Tosca by Giacomo Puccini and Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni.

In 1998-2004 the singer was a soloist of the Kutaisi Opera and Ballet Theatre and performed there parts of Eteri (Abesalom and Eteri), Mzia (Otar Taktakishvili’s Mindia), Lela (Revaz Laghidze’s Lela), Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana).

Since 2004 Khatuna Tchokhonelidze has been a soloist of the Tbilisi Zakaria Paaliashvili State Opera and Ballet Theatre. Her repertoire includes Aida (Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida), Elisabeth of Valois (Don Carlos), Leonora (Il Trovatore), Leonora (Un ballo in maschera) Tosca (Puccini’s Tosca), Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly), Nedda (Ruggero Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci).
