Mariam Kobaliani In 2002 Mariam Kobaliani graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatoire vocal faculty under Professor Nodar Andguladze. In 2005-2006 had an internship at the Augsburg Musikhochschule (Germany) where she refined her vocal skill with Brigitte Fassbander. In 2006-2007 took Postgraduate course at Salzburg Mozarteum (Austria). Since 2000 Mariam Kobaliani has been a soloist of the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre. Her debut at the native stage was in 2001 as Flora Tosca at the Giacomo Puccini opera Tosca under the baton of Djansug Kakhidze.

Mariam Kobaliani collaborates with singers: Lado Ataneli, Nugzar Gamgebeli, Teimuraz Gugushvili, Peter Marsh, Maria Sheremet, Zbignev Grugielsky; also with Munich, Passau, Krakov Symphonic Orchestras; Manheim Philharmonic Orchestra, Salzburg Students’ Orchestra; Lvov and Bavarian Chamber Orchestras; with conductors: Odyssey Dimitriadi, Djansug Kakhidze, Dan Ettinger, Boian Videnoff, Heiko Mathias Forster, Stanislav Galonski, Kornelia Von Kersenbrock. Mariam Kobaliani has a wide repertoire, including Bellini’s Norma (Norma), Bizet’s Carmen (Micaela), Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci (Nedda), Mozart’s Don Giovanni (Donna Anna, Donna Elvira), Le nozze di Figaro (Countess), Die Zauberflöte (Lady), Paliashvili’s Abesalom and Eteri (Eteri), Puccini’s Tosca (Tosca), La Boheme (Mimi), Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin (Tatiana), Strauss’ Die Fledermause (Rosalinda), Verdi’s Falstaff (Nannetta), Un Ballo in Maschera (Amelia), Otello (Desdemona), Don Carlos (Elisabeth), Il Trovatore (Leonora), La Forza del Destino (Leonora), etc. Among other operas Mariam Kobaliani performs Beethoven Ninth Symphony, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem, Verdi’s Messa da requiem, Mozart’s Requiem, Bruckner’s Te Deum, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.

In 2014 Mariam Kobaliani was invited by the Musikerlebnis-eine Marke der Tonicale Music&Event to perform Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in Mannheim, Munich and Nurnberg.

Mariam Kobaliani participated in numerous festivals, among them should be highlighted International Music Festival Autumn Tbilisi (Georgia), Gut Immling Festival (Germany), Krakov International Festival Music in old Krakov (Poland), etc.
